ALLERGIES

 I know people that suffer from allergies. I have seen how miserable they feel. They take medication for it.

I was alarmed by the impact of allergies.

In late 2012 I came down with viral pneumonia. 16 days in the hospital. Surgery because one lung was still filled with liquid was scary. Painkillers helped.

I had to see a respiratory specialist. Talk about an eye opening experience!

He diagnosef me as having allergies!

I just thought I would get a cold every year in a certain month not related to cold weather.

Allergies. It made sense.

The specialist informed me many folks in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas suffer from allergies. Some don't even know it.

I was in that category.

The doctor offered me pills for those ills.

I decided not to take them.

I live with my allergies.

I wish they paid rent!
